- 'Poetic Justice (Hood County News) John Foster, Renaissance Man, became a published author at the same approximate time Marsha Grissom, Education Luminary, became granbury High School principal. So Foster thought it appropriate to welcome Grissom to her new digs with his new volume of poetry, The Lonely Road to Nowhere.
- 'Will Methodist church property be sold? (Hood County News) Will Methodist church property be sold? The granbury School Board reportedly will consider the sale of the First United Methodist Church property on the square Monday evening.
- 'Pirates netters begin district convincingly (Hood County News) The Granbury Pirate varsity tennis team opened District 4-5A play with a convincing 15-4 victory against Paschal Tuesday at the GHS courts. The victory improved the Pirates to 3-4 overall.
