    'William L. Ellis (Bandera Bulletin)William L. "Bill" Ellis, known fondly to many as Mr. Bill or Wild Bill, was taken into the arms of the Lord Oct. 6, 2005, at the age of 87. He was born July 21, 1918, in granbury to Ora Ellen Locklin and Charles William Ellis.

    'Jewell M. Jones (Hood County News)Jewell Marie Jones, 81, of Granbury, died Oct. 13, 2005 at Granbury. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 at Martin?s Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Holly Hills Memorial Park. Dr. John Duncan will officiate.

    'City staff going wireless (Hood County News)The city of Granbury will be going wireless following action by the City Council Thursday afternoon. Council members approved a $305,000 contract with Frontier Broadband for a mobile mesh network.

    'Ellen Beatrice Cooper (Hood County News)Final rites for Ellen Beatrice Cooper, 91, of granbury, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005) at Martin?s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Holly Hills Memorial Park.
