The three that closed -- Front Porch, Cajun Café and Oyster Bar and Pearl Street Pasta House -- apparently faced struggling finances and increasing competition.

    'Marie Gilpin Sympson (Hood County News)Final rites for Marie Gilpin Sympson, 85, of Granbury will be held at 1 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005) at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel. The retired General Dynamics employee and real estate agent died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005 in Granbury. She will be buried in Holly Hills Memorial Park.
