- 'GHS swimmers sweep (Hood County News)The granbury High School swim teams continued their strong starts to the season with a sweep of their three opponents in a quad-meet in Denton Tuesday. The Pirates defeated Denton 99-48, Denton Guyer 107-39, Denton Ryan 97-44 and Sherman 99-52.
''I think we can live with it' (Hood County News)Justin Jones, 28, was given a 10-year sentence probated to community supervision in the traffic death Sept. 16, 2004 of Joy Henshaw, of granbury.
