- 'Mrs. Carter (Lampasas Dispatch Record)Martha "Marty" Vaughan Carter died March 19, 2009, at her home in granbury. A family remembrance will be held this summer in St. Albans Bay, Vt. No local services are planned. Born in Lafayette, Ind., Mrs. Carter was the daughter of the late William T. and Maurice (Joni) Bean.
