'GHS qualifies 15 swimmers for regionals (Hood County News)Once again the granbury High swim team will be well-represented at regionals. The Pirates qualified eight and the Lady Pirates are sending eight to the Class 5A Region I Meet at Loos Pool in Dallas Feb. 10-11.

'Glen Franklin Knight (Hood County News)Glenn Franklin Knight, Sr., 90, of granbury, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, in granbury. No services are planned at this time. Knight was born June 13, 1915, in Anna, Ill. He retired as a train master from the Illinois terminal of the Norfork and Southern Railroad in June 1973.
