    'Inmate beaten in jail (Hood County News)His only night in jail, 25-year-old Travis Austin was punished way beyond what a hot check charge would warrant. The granbury man was awakened from sleep early Saturday, April 1; his limbs tied and several prisoners brutally attacking him with pipes and broomsticks, his father Jerry Austin said.
